“It’s the same Rezum — so why are the results different?”
Everything from anatomical understanding to patient selection and post-procedure care must be planned together.

Rezum is a new approach that treats benign prostatic hyperplasia with steam, without any incision.
Goldman draws on extensive experience and a systematic process to provide safer and more effective Rezum surgery.
Rezum results can vary even when the same device is used. This is because the location, number, and angle of the steam injections inside the prostate must be designed to match each patient's prostate structure. In addition, when other problems such as prostatitis or a urinary tract infection (UTI) are present, it may be necessary to stabilize the condition first rather than proceeding with the procedure right away. The process that follows, including temporary pain, catheter care, and follow-up observation, is also important, so it helps to confirm that the hospital can comprehensively evaluate the prostate and provide care beyond the procedure itself.
Every prostate is different, so no single fixed price applies, but as a rough guide, you can expect approximately KRW 9–10 million.
An accurate estimate follows detailed prostate testing and a consultation.
It is usually performed under local anesthesia or sedation (twilight anesthesia).
Because general anesthesia is not required, older patients and those with underlying conditions can also undergo it relatively safely.
Rezum takes about 10–15 minutes and is often done as an outpatient or same-day admission.
Some patients may need a 1–2 day stay.
Tissue shrinks gradually, so urinary symptoms usually improve within 2 to 6 weeks.
In most cases a catheter is placed temporarily right after Rezum and removed within 3–7 days.
